Stalin Andres Benitez

Andres is 22 years old and born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on November 6, 1989. He is currently taking a semester off from the ESPOL, “Escuela Superior Politecnica de Litoral” to focus on water polo. His major is Mechanical Engineering. When asked about what his family’s opinion of this adventure, he stated that opportunities like this rarely if ever happen here and they are extremely supportive of his commitment and passion. He has played water polo since 2003 and participated in 4 Pacific Cups. The 2007 Pan Am Games as well as the 2010 South American Games. He was selected as the MVP for the 2005 Pacific Cup.  He along with his cousin Roberto Pazimo were one of the first youths to play the sport of water polo in Ecuador at the age of 13.
